how does the tailings thickener work?
The tailings slurry first enters the sludge thickening tank and then enters the swirling feed tank. The slurry that has been flocculated through the feeding tank enters the dense phase sedimentary layer, and the clarified overflow water passes from the upper part through the re-flocculation, filtration and compression of the dense phase sedimentary layer. The overflow weir is discharged, and the lower cone bottom discharges a high concentration of the underflow.
The lower part of the high-efficiency deep cone thickener adopts the deep cone setting of the large cone angle, which greatly increases the compression zone of the thickener. Therefore, although the processed material has fine particle size and low concentration, the underflow concentration of the thickener is very high. 50~70%. In addition, the lower part of the high-efficiency deep cone compact machine adopts a multi-cone structure, on the one hand, the compression zone is transformed to make the underflow concentration higher, and on the other hand, the height of the trough body can be greatly reduced.
