Tower-type sand making equipment converts tunnel slag into sand

During the construction of the mountain expressway, improper disposal of the slag left over from the tunnel excavation will pollute the land and water quality. The Jingwen Expressway project combines the high-quality ratio of high bridges to tunnels and high-quality tunnel slag, and invests more than 10 million to introduce advanced tower-style sand making equipment. Turn waste into treasure, recycle, and process tunnel slag into machine-made sand. Master The core technology of machine-made sand used in high-grade concrete is applied to key structural parts such as columns and high piers of the Gaolingtou Reservoir Bridge.

Compared with river sand with a shortage of resources and fluctuating prices, machine-made sand can not only stably meet the needs of project construction, but also effectively reduce costs and protect the environment. At present, the utilization rate of machine-made sand on the entire Jingwen Expressway has reached 100%, which is the first expressway construction project in Zhejiang that fully utilizes machine-made sand technology.

It is reported that the Jingwen Expressway has a total length of 68.045 kilometers, a total investment of 13.705 billion yuan, and a total approved construction period of 48 months. It is expected to be completed and opened to traffic at the end of 2022. The completion of the project will greatly improve the traffic conditions in the development areas in southwestern Zhejiang and promote tourism resources along the route. Development, strongly stimulating local economic development.
