Advantages of Hydrocyclones Mineral Separator in Lead-Zinc Ore Beneficiation
January.29,2026
Heavy media hydrocyclones are mainly used to process coarse-grained ores, separating minerals of different densities by adjusting the media density. Hydrocyclones, on the other hand, are widely used for the classification and concentration of fine-grained minerals.

In lead-zinc ore beneficiation, hydrocyclones can efficiently separate lead and zinc minerals, significantly improving concentrate grade and recovery rate. Through efficient classification and concentration using hydrocyclones, the burden on subsequent flotation processes can be reduced, improving overall beneficiation efficiency.

For copper-lead-zinc ores, hydrocyclone separation has significant advantages. Polymetallic coexisting ores are complex; preliminary separation using hydrocyclones achieves effective separation of copper, lead, and zinc minerals, followed by further purification through flotation, which can significantly improve mineral recovery rate.
