China’s coal process machinery accelerates intelligence and cleanliness

At present, the domestic production capacity of key equipment and components such as high-power coal mining machines, conveyors, high-mining high-electro-hydraulic control supports, the Internet of Things, and new intelligent sensors has been significantly enhanced, which has strongly supported the construction of large-scale modern coal mines in China. According to statistics, 145 intelligent coal mining working faces were completed last year, and coal production methods are shifting from extensive to intensive and efficient modernization. The degree of mechanization of coal mining in large coal companies increased from 32.34% in 1978 to 96.1% in 2018, and the degree of mechanization of tunneling increased from 14.5% to 54.1%.
Last year, investment in fixed assets picked up. Investment in fixed assets in the coal mining and washing industry has been declining continuously since 2013. In 2018, investment increased by 5.9% year-on-year, of which private investment increased by 14.8%.
The green development system for coal resource development and utilization has been gradually improved. Establish an evaluation mechanism to determine the scale of resource development based on the carrying capacity of the ecological environment, improve the clean production mechanism, encourage raw coal washing equipment, promote green coal mining, and coordinate the ecological protection and restoration of coal mining subsidence areas. Intensify efforts to support the development of ultra-low-emission technology for coal-fired power plants, high-efficiency pulverized coal industrial boilers, deep processing of coal, clean-up technology for civilian loose coal, and the classification and classification of low-rank coal. Promote the clean and efficient use of the entire coal industry chain, and promote the strategic transformation of coal from traditional energy to clean energy.
At the same time, a more comprehensive safety production and occupational health protection system has been established. Increase coal mine safety production investment, strengthen coal mine safety infrastructure construction, advance safety technology advancement, develop mechanization, automation, informationization, and intelligence, optimize systems, reduce heads, areas, and people, and improve coal mine safety assurance capabilities.
In 2018, the national coal selection rate was 71.8%, an increase of 1.6% year-on-year; the comprehensive utilization rate of mine water reached 72.8%, an increase of 0.8% year-on-year; the comprehensive utilization rate of coal gangue reached 70%, an increase of 2.7% year-on-year. The underground gas drainage utilization reached 6.05 billion cubic meters. The comprehensive energy consumption and production power consumption of large and medium-sized coal mines were 11.78 kg of standard coal / ton and 21.9 kWh / ton, and the total power generation capacity of coal gangue and low-calorie coal was 37 million. Kilowatts; the land reclamation rate reached 49.5%, a year-on-year increase of 0.5 percentage points. The discharge of major pollutants in the mining area has been significantly reduced, and the restoration and management of the ecological environment have continued to advance, which has promoted the coordinated development of resource development and ecological environment in the mining area.
