Metro Shield Tunneling Excavation Waste Environmental Protection System Commences Operation

Recently, with the continuous separation of crushed stone and sand aggregates from the shield tunneling excavation waste environmental protection system, the system has been successfully put into operation for the Qingdao Metro. The entire project, from design to implementation, was undertaken by LZZG Heavy Industry as an EPC general contractor.
The production line mainly consists of screening, sand washing, flocculation, filter press, fluid systems, and electrical control systems. It can process 1200-1400 cubic meters of shield tunneling excavation waste per day.
Project Advantages
The entire system adopts integrated centralized control, featuring small footprint, intelligent management, modularity, and low energy consumption.
The system mainly consists of modules for coarse particle separation, mud-sand separation, mud-water separation, tailwater treatment, and recycling. It is equipped with an intelligent management system independently developed by the company, enabling on-site separation of sand and stone from the excavation waste, on-site dewatering and drying of the mud, and treatment of tailwater for reuse in the project. LZZG also produces sand washing machines for small to medium construction projects.
