Construction Waste Recycling Project for New Building Materials
August.25,2025
With the acceleration of urbanization, the amount of construction waste generated is increasing. With growing environmental awareness, construction waste recycling projects have emerged. These projects not only effectively address the problem of construction waste disposal but also provide a new source of raw materials for the construction industry, achieving sustainable resource utilization.
Processing Process
The first step is the collection and sorting of construction waste, a critical step in ensuring the quality of resource recovery. Subsequently, specialized crushing equipment is used to break down large pieces of construction waste into reusable small particles. Next, screening and cleaning processes are used to remove impurities and improve the purity of the material. Finally, the recycled material is processed into new products of varying specifications, such as recycled concrete, bricks, and road base materials, according to specific needs.
Construction waste treatment plants leverage the properties of waste bricks and concrete to develop new building material products such as recycled aggregate, cobblestones, and recycled micropowder, enriching the range of recycled construction waste products. The paper proposes the mix design method and processing technology of recycled aggregate high-rise structural concrete, prefabricated concrete, fine stone concrete and permeable concrete, which further promotes the application of construction waste aggregate in construction concrete.
