Bauxite Ore Pile Screening and Washing System

The Dazhuyuan bauxite mine has a designed annual production capacity of 1 million tons. Due to the high mud content and low ore grade, a modern screening and washing system with an annual processing capacity of 1 million tons (1 million tons of screening capacity) is required (including a 500,000 tons washing capacity). This system will enable efficient bauxite sorting, washing, and dewatering, improving ore quality and resource utilization, meeting the mine’s production capacity requirements, and providing qualified products for subsequent processing or sales.

Process Flow

This process utilizes dry screening followed by water washing. Specifically, a stepped bar screen is used for the screening stage. Its core feature is an open bar screen design oriented in the material flow direction, with a vibrating device to prevent blockage. A vigorous scrubbing method is employed for the water washing stage. Traditional spiral ore washers are modified by replacing some of the continuous blades with intermittent blades. This provides intermittent agitation during the washing process, replacing the continuous pushing motion of the material with a stirring push motion. This promotes movement between the material particles, increasing mutual friction and achieving thorough cleaning.
