Jaw crusher common faults and solutions
When the crusher is idling, there is a metal impact sound at the lower part.
There may be three reasons
(1) The sound of the crushing mobile jaw and the fixed jaw tooth plate colliding with each other is caused by the too small discharge port and should be adjusted in time.
(2) The impact sound in the thrust plate support or the gasket adjustment device is generally due to the elastic loss or damage of the tie rod buffer spring, or the spring is not tightly pressed to cause rotation. When the movable jaw, the toggle and the body are not combined Make sure that the toggle plate head and the supports at both ends collide, or the adjustment pads collide with each other, the compression nut should be tightened in time until the impact sound disappears.
(3) It is also possible that the toggle support sliding block is severely worn or loose, and the toggle head is severely worn, and should be replaced in time.
There is metal impact sound and liner shaking when working.
This phenomenon is often caused by the loosening of the side liner and the tooth plate (moving, fixed) of the crushing chamber, or the loosening and breaking of the fastening screws, and should be fastened or replaced in time.
The rear bracket breaks frequently
Because the rear bracket of the jaw crusher not only has a transmission function, it can also play its role of insurance with the characteristics of higher strength. Because the strength of the middle position of the bracket of the jaw crusher is too low, its own strength cannot offset the crushing force generated by the crushed ore.
The reason is that the tension rod spring pressure of the rear toggle is too large, and the excessive crushing force may cause the rear toggle to be overloaded and cause the rear toggle to break. In order to solve this problem, the pressure strength of the spring needs to be adjusted appropriately according to the production situation.
The flywheel rotates, causing the crusher to fail to operate normally.
The reason for the above situation is that the pull rod and pull rod spring of the jaw crusher are damaged. At the same time, if the bracket has come out of the supporting slider, it will also cause the liner to break or even fall off, which will cause the crusher to fail to operate normally.
If the toggle plate is broken, it needs to be replaced in time. If the tension rod or tension rod spring is damaged, and the toggle plate slips due to the release of the tension rod nut, it should be replaced in time. After the replacement, inspection and testing are required to continue production.
The flywheel swings obviously or the eccentric shaft turns slowly.
This situation is mostly caused by damage or looseness of parts such as pulleys or flywheel keys. As a result, the rotation of the wheel and shaft is not synchronized. If the problem is detected, tighten or replace related parts.
