Tantalum and niobium is an important metal element widely used in electronics, military industry, aerospace and other fields. Gravity beneficiation is a method of sorting minerals based on density differences. In tin ores, tantalum and niobium minerals are denser and can be extracted by gravity separation. Specific steps are as follows:
1. Crush the tin ore to a certain particle size, usually 0.5-3mm.
2. Put the crushed tin ore into a gravity concentrator to separate tantalum and niobium minerals from other minerals by gravity.
3. Separate minerals with different densities through vibration screening.
4. Finally, the separated tantalum and niobium minerals are subjected to further flotation, magnetic separation and other treatments to obtain high-purity tantalum and niobium metal.
