White corundum is made from industrial alumina powder, which is smelted in an arc at a high temperature of more than 2000 degrees and then cooled. It is suitable for the manufacture of ceramics, resin-bonded abrasive tools, grinding, polishing, sandblasting, precision casting (corundum for precision casting), etc. It can also be used to manufacture high-grade refractory materials. The code “WA” is consistent with international general standards and national standards.  Most of them are for export, and a certain amount is also supplied to domestic users.

White corundum powder is hard and brittle and has strong cutting force. It can also be used as catalyst, insulator and precision casting sand. Several precautions should be paid attention to when grinding.

1. Physical and chemical utensils, spark plugs, heat-resistant and anti-oxidative coatings.

2. Due to its high temperature resistance, corrosion resistance, high strength and other properties, cast steel sliding nozzles are used to smelt rare and precious metals, special alloys, ceramics, and the lining of iron-making blast furnaces.

3. Due to the characteristics of high hardness, good wear resistance and high strength, white corundum micropowder can be used for processing various reaction vessels and pipes, and parts of chemical pumps in chemical systems.

4. Make mechanical parts, various molds, such as wire drawing dies, extruding pencil core die mouths, etc., make knives, mold abrasives, bulletproof materials, human joints, sealing die rings, etc.

White corundum micropowder can be used as solid structure and coated abrasives, wet or dry blasting sand, suitable for ultra-fine grinding and polishing in crystal and electronic industries, as well as making advanced refractory materials.
