Anti-clogging Vibrating Screen for Wet Coal Aggregates
May.09,2026

Wet materials, due to the surface tension caused by moisture, are prone to particle adhesion and clumping, thus clogging the screen openings (screen) and significantly reducing screening efficiency. Conventional screening equipment is often inadequate for this type of material, requiring equipment with anti-clogging and self-cleaning capabilities, such as drum screens, tension screens, and banana screens.
Drum screens use an inclined rotating cylinder to tumble and disperse the material. The slight throwing action generated by the rotation effectively prevents wet, sticky materials from clogging the screen. They are commonly used for unclogging screening of wet, sticky coal, screening of sand and gravel aggregates, construction waste processing, and pre-treatment of mining raw materials.

The advantages of drum screens
stable operation
large throughput
low noise
further anti-clogging measures through a built-in cleaning device.
