How to Reuse Waste Concrete
August.29,2025
Construction waste concrete blocks, after crushing, can replace the coarse aggregate needed for concrete preparation. They can also be used directly in building foundation reinforcement, road construction, airport runway sub-bases, indoor stadium flooring, and other applications. If further crushed, they can also replace fine aggregate in bricklaying mortar and plastering mortar. Previously, recycled construction waste concrete products were primarily used in building structures with low strength requirements.
However, with the recent advancement of relevant technologies, by optimizing mix ratios and adjusting the dosage of recycled aggregate, it can also be used in construction projects with higher strength requirements. Currently, my country can obtain high-quality recycled aggregate through processes such as hammering, cutting, crushing, and screening, which can be used to produce concrete with strength grades of C25 to C30.
The main idea is to first recycle waste concrete, then through a series of processes such as hammering, removing debris, and crushing, obtain recycled concrete. This waste concrete is then processed into recycled concrete containing recycled aggregate and recycled cement. This is the main direction of recycling construction waste concrete in the context of achieving carbon peak and carbon neutrality.
